Assam boy Dhruba Tamuly is Mr. World 2020

Guwahati: Assam’s Dhruba Tamuly won Mr. World 2020 under the World Fitness Federation (WFF)-World Body Building Federation (WBBF) Amber Prix championships held in Delhi on March 4, 2020.

Mr World 2020 Dhruba Tamuly gets grand welcome in his hometown

 

Dhruba Tamuly, a resident of Dergaon in Golaghat district excelled in the 80 kg category by winning a gold medal.

Around 250 participants had participated in the competition from 8 different countries all over the world.

 Dhruba Tamuly has singlehandedly brought laurels to Assam and the country as a whole. People in Dergaon are celebrating his win and are very proud of him.

Meanwhile, Tamuly had been taking part in such kind of competitions since 2017 and shining bright at the international level.  

The World Fitness Federation or WFF is an international bodybuilding organization formed in 1968. The WFF promotes classic or athletic bodybuilding with a focus on the aesthetic quality of the physique as opposed to just muscularity, under which the World Body Building Federation or WBFF operates.
