A college student from Dharamtul in Assam’s Morigaon district, who was arrested by Mumbai ATS for writing to the BCCI and threatening to attack Indian cricketers, has been remanded to custody of Mumbai police till Aug 26.
Maharashtra ATS arrested one Braja Mohan Das from Assam who had sent email to BCCI threatening to kill Indian cricketers. He was arrested on August 20&brought to Mumbai on transit remand.Later he was produced in Court in Mumbai and was remanded to police custody till August 26

Brajamohan Das was arrested by a team of Mumbai ATS following an e-mail he reportedly sent to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in which he threatened to attack players of Team India.
He also reportedly asked the BCCI to take action against terrorist outfits failing which he threatened to attack the Indian cricket players.
He was taken to Mumbai on a transit remand and then produced in a court there following which he was remanded to police custody till August 26.

The arrested youth’s mother and neighbours, incidentally, said he is not mentally stable and was undergoing treatment with a psychiatrist. He was also a bright student and had passed the HSLC examination with exceptionally high grades besides also clearing his 12th board exam securing first division marks.
