GUWAHATI: Assam state BJP president and cabinet minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass took oath as MLA on Friday. Dass, MLA from Patacharkuchi took oath in the first session of new assembly.
The oath was administered by pro-tem speaker Phani Bhushan Choudhury.
“On this auspicious occasion, I express my heartfelt gratitude and respect to the people of Patacharkuchi and the people of Assam,” Dass said in a Facebook post.
Ranjeet Dass who was elected from Sorbhog in 2011 and 2016 shifted his constituency to Patacharkuchi in the recent election.
