GUWAHATI: The first session of 15th Assam Legislative Assembly began from Friday.
The three-day session has been summoned by the governor.
On the first day, all the newly-elected members are taking oath.
The oath is being administered by protem speaker Phani Bhushan Choudhury.
So far, chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, former CM Sarbananda Sonowal, speaker Biswajit Daimary took oath.
KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi who is in jail has also arrived in the house to take oath as MLA.
