GUWAHATI: Conrad Sangma-led National People’s Party (NPP) Assam on Thursday released its second list of candidates for the Assam Legislative Assembly Election 2021.
The Central Election Committee (CEC) of the NPP has selected the following candidates who would contest the upcoming Assam Assembly Elections –
- David Seb Rengma from Bokajan
- Chomang Teron from Howraghat
- Rajen Timung from Diphu
- Aminul Islam from Mankachar
- Prabhat Baisnab from Bongaigaon
- Abdul Baten Shikdar from Goalapara West
- Raj Prasad Saikia from Guwahati East
- Abdul Kalam Hussain from Goalpara East
“NPP has come up with a unique concept. We believe in ‘One Northeast One Voice’. Mainly, we want development, education, secularism and with these points, we have decided to contest in the upcoming Assam elections. We have solutions to the ongoing issues in the state including, unemployment, illegal immigrants, floods, etc,” Raj Prasad Saikia, NPP East Guwahati candidate told News Live.
