GUWAHATI: Assam agriculture minister Atul Bora has set an example with hands-on farming. Besides, working for the welfare of the farmers in the state, Bora has not also given up farming on his farm land at his village.
On Friday morning, the agriculture minister was seen tilling his farm land for paddy cultivation with a power tiller at his village in Golaghat district. Bora put on a three-quarter pants, put a ‘gamocha’ around his neck and got behind the power tiller.
“Amidst the own fragrance of the land, the moment of sowing the seeds of paddy field in my village in Golaghat,” he wrote by posting a video on Facebook.
Last year also, Bora tilled his farm land with a power tiller.
