The Assam excise amendment bill 2021, the Right of fair compensation and transparency in land acquisition rehabilitation and re-settlement amendment bill 2021 and the Assam fixation of ceiling on land holdings amendment bill 2021.

The Assam recruitment commission for analogous posts for class 3 and 4 bill 2021 and the Assam police amendment bill 2021 are also scheduled to be introduced in the Winter Session.

The Assam government has decided to bring amendments to the cattle preservation bill after it faced criticisms from the opposition parties and other organisations.

Meanwhile, the session today began on a stormy note when Congress MLA Kamalakhya Dey Purkaystha raised questions on the Department for the Preservation and Promotion of Indigenous Faiths and Cultures.

Cabinet Minister Pijush Hazarika, while responding to Purkaystha, said Congress should not humiliate the indigenous tribes of Assam.

The five-day session will be concluded on December 24, 2021.
