GUWAHATI: The Assam health department has been making all the necessary arrangements to deal with COVID-19 pandemic. The department under minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has been setting up new facilities to tackle rising number of cases.
In order to bolster the fight against COVID-19, the health department is setting up a 250-bedded COVID care centre at MSME training centre at Amingaon under Kamrup district. Health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday visited the site to review the ongoing preparations.
