Guwahati: In an unfortunate incident, two youths drowned while bathing in Dhansiri River in Assam’s Golaghat district on Sunday.
The incident occurred when the duo went for a bath in the river.
The duo has been identified as Deep Paul and Bishnu Malakar.
The bodies of the deceased have been recovered from the river by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
According to the police, they went with nine other friends to the river.
They were the students of 11th standard at Barpathar Higher Secondary School.
