Guwahati: In another case of a major drug haul in Assam, Karbi Anglong police seized 2 kg of heroin and arrested 2 persons.
Assam CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma took to his Twitter and shared the information.
“#AssamAgainstDrugs Pursuing an old case@karbianglongpol have busted an inter-state gang of smugglers, arrested 2 persons & seized 2 kg heroin. The total recovery in this case now is 4.848 kg heroin and this serves a major blow to the gang. Kudos @assampolice @DGPAssamPolice, ” tweeted CM Sarma.

Earlier on August 2 Karbi Anglong police seized suspected heroin worth Rs 1 crore, concealed in a Scorpio SUV, during a routine checking in Diphu, exposing a Dimapur-Manipur link.
