GUWAHATI: Sixteen more COVID-19 patients have been discharged today from different hospitals of Assam. They have been discharged after testing negative twice. According to a Tweet of health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, 12 patients from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati, 3 patients from Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) and one from Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) have been discharged.
With the newly-discharged patients the number of recovered people in the State has increased to 125. Earlier on the day, 6 patients were discharged from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
While the State has reported a total 935 cases, the number of active cases stands at 803.
