GUWAHATI: Sixteen COVID-19 patients have been discharged today from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati and Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) in Assam. Health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted that the patients had been discharged after testing COVID-19 negative twice.
Among the discharged patients, 15 patients are from MMCH and one is from SMCH. The number of total discharged patients has increased to 103 today. On the other hand, among the total 856 COVID-19 cases, there are 746 active cases in the State. Assam has so far reported 4 COVID-19 related deaths.
