Assam: Govt jobs to 1 lakh youths by March 31, 2022

GUWAHATI: Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that 1 lakh youths of the state will get government jobs by March 31, 2022 if BJP is voted back to power.

Addressing an election rally at Bihpuria, the BJP strongman said, “I take the responsibility to give government jobs to 1 lakh youths by March 31, 2022. They don’t need to pay a penny as bribe. In Congress times, people didn’t get APSC jobs even after paying Rs. 1 crore. But today, even the son of rickshaw puller can become ACS.”

On the other hand, Sarma said Assam needs only engineering and medical colleges, not any Madrasa.

“Badruddin Ajmal has been saying that they would reopen the Madrasas in their first cabinet. People in Assam need medical, engineering college, not Madrasas,”the NEDA convenor attacked Congress and AIUDF.

The minister stated that in this election, people will reject Congress and AIUDF with hatred.

“Congress ruled Assam for 15 years. They took schemes to distribute dhotis and lungis. But we focus on education,” he added.
