Ace Indian sprinters Hima Das of Assam and Dutee Chand made it to the semi-finals of the women’s 200m race in the 18th Asian Games and keeping alive hopes of making it to the finals and winning a medal for the country.
While Dutee Chand clocked 23.37 seconds in the heats to qualify for the semis with the second best timing, Hima, who finished fourth in her heat clocking 23.47 seconds, qualified by virtue of superior timing.

The two Indian sprinters will run for a place in the finals with the women’s 200m semi-finals scheduled to take place at 5:20pm today (Aug 28) IST.

Hima will also compete in the 4×400 mixed relay that will also be played later tonight (7:15pm IST).
