GUWAHATI: Assam’s Amrita Kashyap bagged the Femina Miss India Assam 2020 title and Amrita will represent Assam in Femina Miss India 2020 event.
“Amrita Kashyap is a proud daughter of Assam- the land of vivid culture, magnificent biodiversity and the mighty Brahmaputra, where people from all cultures sway to the music of the Bihu.
Born and brought up in a simple family of four in Guwahati, she grew up imbibing varied cultures, values and virtues.
She believes in hard work, dedication and being the best version of oneself. She did her schooling in Guwahati and is a final year student of Zoology. Being an ardent animal lover, she selflessly involves herself in the well-being of stray animals.
As a child, she has always been actively taking part in the cultural events both in school as well as college. A singer, a dancer and a painter, she is someone who has always been intrigued by the world of pageantry and fashion. She started her career in the world of pageantry at the age of 16, in DY Calendar girl, where she was among the top 10 finalists.
She also won the title of Best Walk in Winter Runway, 2020. Being the vigilant and compassionate person that she is, Amrita plans on creating awareness among the youth about addiction so that the future of our nation is in good hands,” missindiaorg posted on Instagram.
