GUWAHATI: Union home minister Amit Shah who is under COVID-19 treatment had a telephonic conversation on Tuesday with Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma over some issues pertaining to enduring peace in the northeastern region of the country.

Shah tested COVID-19 positive on Sunday (August 2) and was admitted to a hospital.
