GUWAHATI, Aug 25: Assam Police have asked people to exercise utmost caution and to not forward or share rumours about child lifters prowling in various parts of the State.
This comes in the midst of rumours being circulated by people about the presence of child lifters in various parts of the State.
“Some rumours about child lifters have again been doing the rounds in various parts.
Citizens are requested not to forward or share unverified rumours about child kidnappers.
If you see someone prompting/sharing such kind of rumours, kindly inform us immediately. We remain committed to ensuring the safety of all our children and citizens,” a release issued by Assam Police on its social media pages stated.
