GUWAHATI: Taking a dig at opposition parties, Assam state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass said that All Muslims are not supporters of Congress and All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF).
Addressing Pristha Pramukh meeting at Dudhnoi in Goalpara district on Tuesday, Dass said that politically conscious Muslim society of Assam is in favour of the BJP. ‘Muslims’ do not necessarily mean only Congress and AIUDF.
Dass also claimed that BJP will get 100 plus seats in the forthcoming assembly elections. The BJP state president expressed confidence over the BJP’s victory in the Dudhnoi constituency with a huge margin.
He stated that besides Dudhnoi, BJP will grab another seat in Goalpara district.
In his speech, Ranjeet Dass also highlighted various achievements of the central and state governments.
“I sincerely appeal to every members of Dudhnoi to introduce the initiatives and schemes undertaken by the government, to the common people to enable their trust in the
@BJP4Assam,” he stated in a tweet.
