Guwahati: Amid all the speculations of alliances between the major parties for the forthcoming Assembly Election in Assam, Chief advisor Raijor Dal, Dr. Hiren Gohain stated that joining hands with All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajmal will bring no harm to the party.
Speaking to the media Dr. Gohain said, “Ajmal is not an enemy of the country. He is being presented as an enemy in front of the people and this particular game is played by the BJP. Opposition parties should consider whether Ajmal is the biggest enemy or the BJP.”
“Does Ajmal really want to destroy Assam? I don’t think so. According to me, Ajmal has no conspiratorial intent to harm Assam. This is just a false and misleading propaganda of the BJP. I don’t think there will be any harm in joining hands with him politically in this hour of need,” added Gohain.
