GUWAHATI, Dec 4: India hammered minnows UAE by 10 wickets in the final group game of the ACC under-19 Asia Cup in Sharjah to book their place in the semi-finals.
Chasing 137 runs for victory, unbeaten knocks from the Indian openers Vaibhav Suryavanshi (76) and Ayush Mhatre (67) helped India reach the target in just 16.1 overs.
Earlier in the day, UAE, batting first, were bowled out for 137 runs in 44 overs. Muhammad Rayan top scored making 35 runs.
For India, Yudajit Guha scalped three wickets while Chetan Sharma and Hardik Raj took two wickets each.
