Aamir Khan Skips ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ Screening: Popular Bollywood actor Aamir Khan was missing from the special screening of his iconic film Andaz Apna Apna, which re-released in theatres on April 25. The reason behind his absence was deeply emotional and heartbreaking. Aamir said he was too disturbed by the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and was not in the right state of mind to attend the event.

The actor told senior journalist Subhash K Jha, “I was reading reports about what happened at Pahalgam in Kashmir. I have been badly affected by the senseless killing of innocents. I was in no state to go. I will see the film sometime later this week.”

The tragic incident took place on April 22, where 25 tourists and a local Kashmiri lost their lives in a shocking terrorist attack. The incident has left the entire country in grief and anger, and many celebrities are expressing their pain and sorrow.

Shah Rukh Khan also took to social media to express his anger and sadness. In his emotional post, he wrote, “Words fail to express the sadness and anger at the treachery and inhumane act of violence that has occurred in Pahalgam. In times like these, one can only turn to God and say a prayer for the families that suffered. May we as a Nation stand united, strong and get justice.”

Fans were eagerly waiting to see Aamir at the screening, especially as Andaz Apna Apna is one of his most loved films. The film, originally released in 1994, has become a cult classic over the years, even though it was not a big success in theatres at first. Aamir, along with Salman Khan, played the iconic roles of Amar and Prem, two funny guys trying to win the heart of a rich heiress. The film is full of comedy, confusion, and crazy adventures, and is still loved by fans of all ages.

Aamir has always been a sensitive and thoughtful actor who speaks from the heart. This time too, he chose to step back from a public event because he was too disturbed by the tragic news. His reaction shows how much the tragedy in Kashmir has affected people across the country.

Music composer Salim Merchant and singer Arijit Singh also reacted to the Pahalgam attack. Salim said he felt ashamed as a Muslim due to the violence, and Arijit even cancelled his Chennai concert, promising to refund tickets. Celebrities across Bollywood are coming together to mourn the victims and demand justice.

After the re-release of Andaz Apna Apna, Aamir will next be seen in Sitaare Zameen Par. This film is said to be a spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par, which touched hearts with its message about children and learning differences. Fans are excited to see him return in a heartfelt role again.
