GUWAHATI: Around 50,040 fresh COVID-19 infections were reported in the last 24 hours, informed the Union Health Ministry on Sunday.
The daily positivity rate stands at 2.82 per cent, which is less than 5 per cent for 20 consecutive days.
The active caseload further declines at 5.86 lakh. The weekly positivity rate drops to less than 5 per cent, currently at 2.91 per cent.
It is to be mentioned that more than 64 lakh(64,25,893) vaccine does have been administered in the last 24 hours.
