GUWAHATI: Assam PWD, Finance and Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday morning inaugurated the Office of the New Guwahati Treasury Officer in Chandmari Colony, Guwahati.
“This office was in a really bad condition. So, we have built this new Treasury office at a cost of around Rs. 2 crores. We will also build many sub-treasury offices across the state. The services have also transformed now and as the computerized system is used now, the total process has become smooth and systematic,” said the Minister.
