Himanta Biswa Sarma discusses PWD works in BTR

GUWAHATI: Assam health, finance, education and public works department (PWD) minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday held a meeting at Kokrajhar with Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) chief Pramod Boro, PWD officials and other functionaries to discuss the works of the department in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).

Sarma reviewed various projects undertaken in the region. He discussed future plans for the infrastructure development in the BTR.

Along with minister Sarma and BTC chief Pramod Boro, BJP national general secretary Dilip Saikia, state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass, BTC deputy CEM Gobinda Basumatary were also present in the meeting.
