GUWAHATI: All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) MLA Aminul Islam from Dhing constituency claimed that AIUDF supremo Maulana Badruddin Ajmal is an Assamese by heart.
“Badruddin Ajmal is a pure Assamese. He is doing a lot of works for the Assamese community in the fields of education, health and literature,” the AIUDF MLA said.
Aminul Islam said that Ajmal Foundation has never received any fund from any terror group.
“Ajmal Foundation has not got any fund from terror groups. It is propaganda,” he added.
The Dhing legislator further claimed that Congress-AIUDF alliance would form the Assam government in 2021.
“There will be a grand alliance in 2021. We will form the government,” he said.
