GUWAHATI: Tanvi Raksam Marak bagged the Miss India Meghalaya 2020 title and will represent Meghalaya in Femina Miss India 2020 event.
“Tanvi Raksam Marak hails from “Scotland of the East”- Meghalaya, Shillong. She studied in a convent school, where she took up science and appeared for her medical entrance exams. She enjoys being around her loving family. She comes from a strict background where modelling was nowhere in the picture, but her passion made them believe in her and now they are her greatest supports. She was questioned about either choosing only medical or the glamour world, but she decided to choose both because she believes that we live only once. She never knew she was capable of achieving something in the glamour world because of her insecurities. However, after winning titles like Miss Meghalaya 2019, she knows she can conquer the world and represent her state! Apart from this, she also plays Taekwondo and would like to help spread awareness about sex education.
