GUWAHATI: The body of Jayanta Doley, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawan who was killed in a road mishap in Delhi NCR on Friday was brought to his home in Golaghat district of Assam on Saturday afternoon.
CISF Jawan Jayanta Doley who hailed from 1 number Balijan Adarsha Mishing Gaon in Bokakhat under Golaghat district was working at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. Doley died in a road accident while he was returning to his quarter from the airport.
The CISF paid last tributes to the jawan at its headquarters in Delhi. Homage was also paid at Lokpriya Gopinath Borodoloi International Airport after the arrival of the mortal remains of Doley in Guwahati.
Assam minister Atul Bora visited the bereaved family and paid his last respects to late Jayanta Doley.
