GUWAHATI: The mortal remains of martyred Indian Army Havildar Haradhan Chandra Ray reached Guwahati on Sunday evening. Ray who laid down his life in the ceasefire violations by Pakistan Army along the Line of Control (LoC) on November 13 hailed from Futkibari Medhipara village in western Assam’s Dhubri district.
Along with the Army and Assam Police officials, chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal paid is tributes to the brave Army trooper at the 151 Army Base Hospital at Basistha, Guwahati.

Martyred Havildar Haradhan Chandra Ray of the Regiment of Artillery was posted in the Uri sector. He was among the four Indian Army personnel who lost their lives in the unprovoked firing by the Pakistani Army.
The braveheart will be laid to rest with complete military honours at his native village in Dhubri district. Ray left behind his parents, wife, a one-and-half-year old son and a sister.
