GUWAHATI: Assam state BJP on Tuesday felicitated newly-appointed national general secretary of the party Dilip Kumar Saikia at the state headquarters of the BJP at Hengerabari in Guwahati. North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) convenor and Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass attended the event to felicitate Saikia who represents Mangaldoi constituency at Lok Sabha.
The Lok Sabha MP was named as the national general secretary of the BJP in a recent reshuffle announced by BJP national president JP Nadda.
