Guwahati: The Assam government has set a target to conduct 1 lakh COVID-19 tests from today.
The drive will continue till September 30. The health department has set the target to conduct a total of 3 lakh tests within three days.
With a remarkable rate, Assam has crossed more than 31 lakh in terms of COVID-19 tests till date.
Yesterday, Assam registered 875 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the total to 1, 69,985 while the death toll increased to 655 after the demise of 17 more patients.
