Guwahati: The monsoon trough runs over Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and West Bengal on Sunday.
According to IMD, the low-pressure area and related cyclonic circulation are over Sikkim and adjoining area on Sunday and will gradually weaken from Monday onward.
The low-pressure area will produce fairly widespread to widespread rain and thunderstorms with isolated heavy rain over North-Eastern India on Sunday and Monday.
Heavy rainfall is likely over isolated places of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Meghalaya on Sunday and Monday.
A low-pressure area and related cyclonic circulation could form over the west-central Bay of Bengal on Tuesday.
