GUWAHATI: People of Bodoland Territorial Autonomous District(BTAD), now the Bodo Territorial Region(BTR) have shown immense support to the BJP government and that is why the BJP party will get absolute majority in the upcoming BTC elections from the area said Pijush Hazarika, Minister of State Urban Development, Health & Family Welfare, Govt of Assam.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP government has successfully brought changes in every nook and corner of Assam. In the last four and a half years, no BJP MLA or Minister has indulged in any corrupt practice, there is no evidence regarding any corruption in the state. Except for Muslims of Bangladesh origin, all local people of Assam have accepted the BJP government said Minister Pijush Hazarika in a public meeting in the Udalguri district of Assam on Sunday.
Mentioning the various schemes introduced by the BJP government in Assam, Hazarika stated that all poor people during the BJP’s reign have received benefits from different schemes provided by the government.
Pijush Hazarika said,” In 2019 Loksabha election BJP won 7 seats alone, but lost in Nagaon district that was under BJP’s occupancy. This happened only because of Muslims of Bangladesh origin people in the area.”
Without mentioning any particular party’s name the minister criticized the present government in BTC. He also said that not only Member of Council Legislative Assembly (MCLA) and Executive Member (EM) family members but all deserving candidates must get government jobs in the area.
