ASSAM RIFLES JAWANS DONATE BLOOD PLASMA AT JMCH

GUWAHATI: Nine jawans of Assam Rifles on Monday donated blood plasma at the Jorhat Medical College & Hospital(JMCH)in Jorhat. Assam Rifles jawans who recovered from COVID-19 infection donated their convalescent plasma after assessing their antibodies status at Jorhat Medical College & Hospital(JMCH).

 

 

 “Nine Assam Rifles jawans came to donate blood plasma today. After their tests, 3 were canceled as 2 jawans had low hemoglobin level and the other failed the antibody titer test. So we have collected blood plasma from 6 Assam Rifle jawans,” said a doctor.

It is to be mentioned that till date 54 people have donated blood plasma and 108 units of blood plasma have been collected from them.

Earlier, Personnel of Border Security Force (BSF) Guwahati Frontier donated plasma at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati.
