Guwahati: Amid COVID-19 pandemic the four-day session of the Assam Legislative Assembly began from today.
On the very first day of the session, Mariani MLA Rupjyoti targeted the government on the COVID-19 situation in the state.
MLA Kurmi claimed that “Corona is a lie, Corona is a drama. The government has made a fuss about the issue.”
He also made a strange argument by comparing Coronavirus with the spring season as it comes and goes every year.
Kurmi also added that the ruling government is trying to keep the COVID-19 situation alive for a long period time.
