Army Chief General Bipin Rawat todat (Feb 21) flew the home-made Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas at the at the Aero India air show in Bengaluru.
The Army chief described the Made-In-India combat jet as a ‘wonderful aircraft’ that will enhance IAF’s firepower.
The Army chief was the co-pilot as the two-seater jet took the sortie in the skies above the Yelahanka Air Force Station.

The aircraft was given operational clearance by the Defence Ministery yesterday.
