GUWAHATI: In two separate operations, Assam Police recovered arms and ammunition in Baksa and Kokrajhar districts which fall under Bodoland Territorial Area District (BTAD).
Baksa Police on Saturday recovered 2 AK Rifles, 2 Pistols (9 mm) and ammunition from Goreswar Police Station area and 1 AK 47 and ammunition from Simla Police Station area.
On the other hand, Kokrajhar Police recovered 1 AK Rifle and ammunition from an area which falls under Tipkai Outpost of Bagribari Police Station.
Earlier in the first week of July, arms and ammunition were also seized from Udalguri district in BTAD.
