GUWAHATI: ACOVID-19 positive man had been selling vegetables in Guwahati till Sunday. He was found positive on Sunday night. The vegetable vendor identified as Ashok Das was selling vegetables in Silpikhuri area.
According to reports, swab of Ashok for COVID-19 tests was collected three days ago. But he did not wait for the test report and continued his business.
Hundreds of people in Silpukhuri area purchased vegetables from the COVID-19 positive man.
The incident has worried the local residents.
On Sunday night, 195 COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Guwahati. Among them 120 patients have no travel history.
The 14-day lockdown in the city started from Sunday midnight.
