GUWAHATI: Though the number of COVID-19 patients in Assam has been increasing day by day, the State health department has made all the necessary arrangements to deal with the situation.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma informed media persons that the State health department is prepared to treat five thousand COVID-19 patients.
“We will be able to treat up to five thousand COVID-19 patients without creating any problem to the normal patients,” said Dr. Sarma while he was visiting Kalapahar COVID-19 Hospital in Guwahati at night.
He stated that the health department has made all the necessary arrangements to deal with the increasing number of COVID-19 patients.
