GUWAHATI: Thirty five people have tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning. Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter to announce the new cases.
Among the newly-detected patients, 18 persons are from Golaghat, 6 from Kokrajhar quarantine centre, 5 from Karimganj, 2 from Tinsukia, 2 from Sivasagar and one each is from Jorhat and Dhemaji. Dhemaji district reported its first case today.
With these new 35 cases, the count has mounted to 427 in Assam. Currently there are 363 active cases in the State.
