GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma announced eight more COVID-19 cases in the State. The new cases take the State’s tally to 230 with 169 active cases.
The new eight patients include one patient who is at Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati under quarantine, one at Silchar Medical College and Hospiyal (SMCH) and 6 persons in Cachar with travel history. All the newly-detected patients were in quarantine.
