Guwahati: In view of the detection of COVID-19 positive patient at Gopal Nagar area of Noonmati, Kamrup Metro District administration declared the area as Containment Zone.
The Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup Metro, Biswajit Pegu vide an order on Thursday , directed the area with following boundary description North – Dr. Bhupen Hazarkia Road, South – Ram Nagar, East – Santipath and West – Residence Sri Jayram Bharali of Gopal Nagar of Noonmati area declared as Containment Zone.
Any unauthorised entry and exit into the notified Containment Zone is barred till the area is declared safe as per the guidelines of the Union ministry of health and family welfare.
