GUWAHATI: A 9-year old boy has tested COVID-19 positive at Jorhat in upper Assam, announced Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Twitter. With this the total number of positive cases in Assam has reached 96.
The boy along with his 8-member family had returned from Delhi and was in facility quarantine. The boy’s cousin, 19 year old Abdul Samim, a Delhi University student, also tested positive.
