GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter to announce the discharge of one more COVID-19 patient from Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH). With this the number of recovered patients in Assam has reached 41.
“Happy to share that one more #COVID19 patient, after testing negative successively, has been discharged from SMCH today taking the total recovered patients to 41,” Dr. Sarma tweeted.
So far Assam has reported total 86 COVID-19 positive cases. Currently there are 42 active cases in the state. Whereas one has migrated to other state, the state reported 2 COVID-19 deaths so far.
