The construction of much needed railway over-bridge on Na-Ali in Jorhat has been inaugurated by Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in presence of Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Assembly Speaker and local MLA Hitendra Nath Goswami, Jorhat MP Kamakhya Prashad Tasa.

CM Sonowal in the same function also laid the foundation stone of Women Business Centre. The much needed three lane road cum overbridge on Na-Ali in Jorhat will be constructed under North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS).
Speaking on the occasion, Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “More than Rs. 100 crore will be spend on the construction of the over-bridge and Centre as well as the State government will provide the funds for the project.”
