Fuel prices are showing no signs of coming down with prices of petrol and diesel hiked by oil companies yet again. While petrol price has been increase by 9 paise/litre, diesel went up by 15 paise for every litre on Sunday.
With today’s hike, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 85.97 in Guwahati today (Sep 30) while one will have to shell out Rs 78.20 for every litre of diesel consumed (prices, however, could vary marginally from one fuel station to another).
Meanwhile, people across Assam and in other parts of the country have expressed their anger over the escalating petrol and diesel price that is now burning a hole in the common man’s pocket.
