GUWAHATI: Three COVID19 patients who were being treated at Assam’s Goalpara Civil Hospital have been discharged on Thursday in the presence of health and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The patients— Khabiruddin Ahmed, Shahjahan Ali Ahmed and Yusuf Ali have been discharged from the hospital after testing negative for COVID19.
Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the discharged persons will be kept under observation at another facility for 14 days. With these the total number of discharged COVID19 patients in Assam reached 5. Earlier on Wednesday, 2 persons were discharged from Sonapur District Hospital after testing negative for COVID19 as per Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR).
On the other hand, health minister Dr. Sarma also announced that ten more patients from other parts of the state are likely to be discharged tomorrow.
