Guwahati: The Assam health department has clarified that no COVID19 patient has died at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). There was a report in a local daily newspaper that a COVID19 patient had died in GMCH.
Taking to social media Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma requested the media to refrain from reporting, without doubly verifying facts.
