GUWAHATI: As Assam has been battling with COVID19 pandemic, many people have come forward to strengthen the government’s efforts against the deadly disease. So far, 40211 people have donated a total amount of Rs. 89.24 crore to Assam Arogya Nidhi.
According to the information shared by Assam health and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Twitter, till Saturday 40211 people have donated a total amount of Rs. 89,24,51,795.85 to Assam Arogya Nidhi.
“This is amazing! Under Assam Arogya Nidhi we have so far received donations of over Rs 89.24 crores, and it continues to grow everyday. My gratitude to 40211 people who have contributed. It means a lot in our endeavour to tide over our worst crisis ever. We shall win,” minister Sarma Tweeted.
