GUWAHATI: As the Coronavirus fear hit various parts of the country, a group of people in Assam performed ‘Puja’ to save everyone from deadly Coroanvirus.
Arya Sanskriti Bodhini Samiti of Southern Assam’s Silchar town organized ‘Yajna’ on Monday to pray the Almighty to save the world from Coronavirus.
The members of the organizing committee and local people participated in the ‘Yajna’. They took part in prayers and other religious rituals.
On the other hand, after the Puja, the members of Arya Sanskriti Bodhini Samiti celebrated Holi with flowers.
“Every year we play Holi with flowers. We don’t use other colours. Because they are harmful. Today we have performed Puja to save mankind from deadly Coronavirus,” said a member of the organizing committee.
