Bodoland University 1st convocation ceremony

GUWAHATI: The 1st convocation ceremony of Bodoland University was held on Tuesday. The event was held at the University campus, Bodoland University, Kokrajhar.
 
The degrees were awarded in the presence of Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi.

Prof. K.K. Aggarwal, chairman, National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi, along with BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary, Minister Pramila Rani Brahma, Bodoland University vice-chancellor Prof Laishram Ladusingh were also present in the event.

A total of 797 including 525 postgraduate and 40 Ph.D. degrees were awarded to students at the 1st convocation event in Bodoland University, Kokrajhar.

Assam Governor, Jagadish Mukhi wrote on twitter, “Attended the very first convocation of Bodoland University. My heartfelt wishes to all of you, specially the degree holders for their well-deserved attainments. Congratulations”


The Governor also unveiled the statue of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma at the entrance of the Bodoland University campus.
